How Can Small Businesses Use Social Media?

One of the most important things that will help a business develop today is social media. Social media is very suitable for use for marketing and advertising purposes for businesses. Today, 4.2 billion people are social media users and these users spend between 2 hours and December 25 minutes on social platforms every day. 

This time, which covers almost 2 and a half hours, offers important opportunities for businesses. These opportunities are generally: 

● Creating brand awareness 

● Improve communication with the consumer 

● Selling directly from social platforms 

If you are a small business and you are thinking about how you should use social media. Here are some tips for you;

1. Set a plan.

Social media is a medium that people often use in their daily lives as well. Opening a business page will be very easy for everyone. First, before creating a Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page for your business and starting sharing, determine a plan prepared with the right strategy that you really need.

Change and mix the formats you use when sharing posts frequently. If you shared a GIF once, try sharing a JPG the next time. This way, followers will follow your posts without getting bored. 

8. Pay more attention to quality than quantity.

Instead of existing in many areas, focus on a few areas that you know how to use well. So you can communicate with consumers in the right way. After making sure that you have fully developed yourself in these areas, you can switch to new channels. 

9. Use the right tools.

There are many tools for sharing and editing on social media. Find the one that suits you best among them and work on it Decently.
